How to Fix Hangouts Microphone Not Working on Mac

1. Restart Hangouts
   • Quit Hangouts by clicking on the Hangouts menu in the menu bar and selecting Quit.
   • Re-launch Hangouts from your Applications folder.
2. Check Microphone Privacy Settings
   • Click on the Apple menu and select System Preferences.
   • Select Security & Privacy.
   • Click on the Privacy tab.
